Here are some photographs of our area dating back to the early 1900's. These include the original Bryan Park entrance, which was changed to accomodate Interstate 64.
The Howard Johnson's at Brook & Azalea was later replaced by Wright's Chicken in the Rough. Walgreen's now occupies the site. Diagonally across the street was a White Tower Restaurant.
The Azalea Mall picture is from sometime in the 60's.
